A song by Laurie Anderson realized by Rogalsky Bros.
After Sept 11 2001, I went back to Laurie Anderson's "Big Science" LP and realized all the topics she had been singing about in 1982 were more pertinent than ever. Planes, post, surveillance, paranoia, and a mom ready to embrace you with her military, petrochemical arms. I started to imagine her great piece O Superman as a fingerpicking, harmony singing enterprise. This is not a parody in any way, but an hommage. Laurie Anderson might not feel honored I suppose.
