A drone piece recorded live during an overnight at Simon Fraser University's electronic music studio in 1986, and titled after a short story by Franz Kafka. The warbling tones and lowpass-filtered sounds are all generated in real time by a patch I programmed on a fabulous Serge modular synth, and I played slide guitar along with that. The piece doesn't develop much, but I hope it evokes some of the panicky feel I got from the story.
